Build Question

I have a Mind/Energy Dom. How screwed is that build? And what can I do to salvage it?

I can't say much for the /energy part (maybe Janet can?), but got a mind/psi dom myself.
You got lots of nice crowdcontrol here. Sleep, hold, and confuse, plus AoE version of them all. Oh, and telekinesis as well. Nice hold/repel toggle. Can be a bit trickey at first, but when you get the hang of it, it really works wonders.
And for the AoE hold- 6-slot it. You need it. Same goes for the ordinary hold and confuse. Acc is your friend.

Yup, a hold that misses means a sore head when the enemy rushes up and beats you with a stick! Accuracy ftw!

As for the energy set just take the ranged single shotters. Snipe is useful. Just don't slot any knockback, too much is baaaad when you want to hold.

How badly does this suck, and what can I do to improve it? I've got no idea what I'm doing when it comes to the IO-sets so any input on those would be MOST appreciated.
