Six hours downtime and strong rumours... today is I9 day!!

I do hope it is, since one of my reasons for resubscribing was to see I9 ;P I had given up hope of its arrival before my month was up, to tell the truth...I'm downloading a patch as I speak, but it seemed very, very small for a major update.

Anyway, I expect it to totally break the game and just make us into another farming community....including Professional Gold Farmers. Ah well, fingers crossed!

Anyway, we need one of them workbenches in our base. And some storage for all our phat lewt.

Sure is I9 and it looks great. I went to the abyss with 11-14 others and we got a lot of monsters down. I cant wait until we do a massive 30+ lvl50 attack.

Erm, I'm all of a tizzy and I barely remember if I'm coming or going. Anyway, if I recall, I was trying to comment that invention-effects seemed to not be level based. That is, the same accuracy invention would give a level 1 and a level 50 a straight +32% accuracy (so they never need to be replaced). The only thing is that a level 20 invention would only be usable by level 20+ players. Erm, did I have a point? I think it was that therefore a level 49 invention was actually at least as good as a level 50 invention, since the later was, in fact, the same, but more limiting. Yes, I think it was that.

But there is one VERY ANNOYING thing I have found out! Evil or Very Mad

Cossie parts, wings specifically. Someone who started yesterday can invent a wing cossie part AND use them, thus rendering the 15 month wings reward rather pointless!

Yes I know you can't invent angel/devil wings (the ones you get for the reward) but in my opinion the new tech/insect wings are cooler than those Crying or Very sad

So basically, Mr Rich Kid can open his account today and pay some gold farmer for wings tomorrow. NERFED!

However, if you look at the prices these recipes are going for, a newbie/lowbie will have a very hard time affording these items. Sure, there might be gold farmers, but I really can't consider that as "playing the game".

On a different note, a storagevault and a workbench has been installed in our base. Just drop by my office and you'll find them.
When these inventions have been about for some time and we all start to get the hang of it, maybe we can run some sort of tradetopic here? The black market might be nice and all that, but for those occations when you feel that you rather swap your Hamigoo for a Destiny, rather than paying 2 gazillion inf for it Rolling Eyes

That sounds like a good idea Doc i wud prefer to swap things with other SG members or coalition members , anyone no why the white recipes sell for more with quartermasters even though the others are rarer ?

Well, I managed to time my resubscription badly since my account has already expired, so I won't be able to play with inventions at all. Ah well, maybe I'll pop back later ;P Still, it was great to visit and see that everyone was still about and fighting the good (bad?) fight! Have fun!

As you probably noticed, I didn't even play that much this month. I made Slippery Jack and took him to 15th and got a couple of levels on the couple of other toons. That is all...

Anyway, I'm knee-deep in Hobbit-pie over at Lord of the Rings at the moment *guilty look* Maybe when I'm sick of elves (won't take me long) I'll pop back again...hehe!
